تستند هويدا في عملها على دراستها لنظريه من اكثر النظريات العلميه كفاءه و نجاحا في التواصل لأنها تتعلق بدراسة العقل البشري و كيف يعمل التفكير و بالتالي كيف يتواصل العقل البشري مع نفسه و الآخرين. تسمى هذه النظريه نظرية ” Brain- Based Learning”
بداية العمل بالنسبه لهويدا كان يستهدف التعليم و ليس الاسره . أسست شركتها الأولى سنة 2006 و التي كانت تستهدف اصلاح التعليم عن طريق تقديم تنميه مهنيه للمعلمين في مصر على أحدث النظريات التعليميه في العالم . التدريب الذي كانت تقدمه هويدا خلال سنوات عملها كان يعد التدريب الوحيد في مصر الذي يتناول حرفية المعلم في كل مجالاته . أثناء عملها في التعليم لفتت احوال الاسره المصريه نظر هويدا و توصلت لقناعه ان اصلاح مصر يحتاج قبل اصلاح التعليم اصلاح العلاقه الزوجيه التي هي جوهر و بداية كل مشكلات الاسره باكملها فقررت ان تقوم بالاهتمام باحوال الاسره و بذلك بدأت مؤسستها الحاليه “مؤسسة هويدا الدمرداش” و استفادت من خبرتها السابقه في تطبيق نظرية Brain-Based Learning في الفصل الدراسي بتدريب الازواج و اولياء الامور و حتى المقبلين على الزواج على ما يحتاجون اليه من معرفه عن العقل البشري و حقيقة التواصل.
