Founded out of a deep curiosity for space and a mission to promote STEM awareness in Pakistan, Nebula is a youth-led initiative shaping the future through science, innovation, and social impact.
We proudly organized NASA Space Apps Challenge Lahore 2024 as an official local collaborator, securing a spot among the global nominees. We also hosted Pakistan’s largest astronomy event — the National Astronomy Symposium — as well as multiple public outreach activities, including local telescope viewings, VR space experiences, astrography competitions, and workshops at Lincoln’s Corner.
Our innovations include building one of the world’s cheapest nuclear fusor reactors using only $100 worth of parts and developing a cloud chamber to observe radiation with the naked eye. To further knowledge access, we launched Archives, our educational magazine in both print and digital formats.
Nebula also extends its impact through social welfare — including organizing iftar drives feeding over 1,500+ people — and embracing humor and culture by introducing a STEM meme mascot to engage youth.
We operate through six specialized departments:
Orion – Planetary observations using telescopes
Archives – Publications, articles, and educational magazines
Particles – Quantum discussions and reality exploration
Labs – Experimental physics: fusor reactors, cloud chambers, etc.
Sentience – AI model development and IT innovation
Hope – Social welfare and education for underprivileged children
