HRIDAY is a not for profit organisation that aims to promote sustainable health, particularly among youth, in multiple settings, including schools, colleges, workplaces and the community at large. These interventions are based on the social cognitive theory of learning, and address both intrapersonal and socio-environmental risk factors. The school and community-based health promotion programmes have been scientifically evaluated and have shown success in inculcating healthy practices among adolescents (results published in reputed peer reviewed international and national journals).
