In der Humanitas Stiftung bieten wir Erwachsenen mit einer Behinderung aus der Region Horgen ein vielfältiges und durchlässiges Arbeits- und Bildungsangebot sowie Wohnplätze mit unterschiedlicher Betreuungsintensität.
Im Zentrum unseres Handelns stehen die Begleitung und Förderung der Klientinnen und Klienten auf dem Weg zu einem möglichst selbstbestimmten und sinnstiftenden Wohn- und Arbeitsalltag. Alle unsere Angebote und unser Handeln sind am Normalisierungsprinzip gemäss UNO-Menschenrechtskonvention ausgerichtet.
Die 1977 gegründete Humanitas Stiftung unterhält heute das Wohnheim Horgen und das Wohnhaus Rüschlikon sowie Aussenwohngruppen , dazu die geschützte Werkstatt in Horgen und das Förderungsatelier in Horgen. Das Angebot umfasst etwas über 200 Wohn- und Arbeitsplätze.
Wir sind eine lebendige, offene und kreative Stiftung. Wir orientieren uns an den Bedürfnissen und Möglichkeiten unterschiedlicher Klienten-Gruppen. Und was wir tun, tun wir aus Überzeugung und von Herzen!
