Unsere Vision für Malawi ist es, Entwicklung zu einem gemeinsamen Prozess zu machen. Unsere Arbeit teilt sich dabei in drei Bereiche auf, mit denen wir die Menschen in der ländlichen Region Benga in ihrer Selbstwirksamkeit unterstützen wollen. Zum einen finanzieren wir unserem Partner vor Ort der eine Stipendienprogramm, um nachhaltig eine gut ausgebildete Generation, die in Zukunft Verantwortung für die Veränderung des Landes übernehmen kann, zu unterstützen. Zum Anderen arbeiten wir daran, datenbasierte Projekte zu entwickeln, um den Menschen vor Ort fundiert und problemgerecht in den Bereichen Gesundheit, Ernährung und Einkommen helfen zu können. Hierbei liegt unser Fokus bei der Vermeidung von Rauchvergiftungen und minimieren der Ausgaben für Feuerholz durch lokal fabrizierte Lehmöfen und dem Aufbau eines nachhaltigen Agrarprojektes zur gesundheitlichen und finanziellen Unterstützung der lokalen Bevölkerung.
Making development a hand-in-hand process is our vision for Malawi. Categorizing our work in three main fields we want to help people in the rural area of Benga, Malawi, to transform their lives and encourage their self-efficacy. On one side we help to fund our local partner's studyfee program, to invest in the future generation. On the other side we are tackling the biggest heath issues, besides infections diseases, nutrition and air pollution repercussions. Additionally, we are stabilizing the financial situation by offering clay stoves that lead the smoke outside, built by local workers, that do not only offer health benefits but also a stable income for the workers and save money in firewood expenses. Furthermore, a sustainable agriculture project is in the planning, providing additional income as well as securing nutrition of the locals.
