De Hussein Foundation en Honorata Ndirampeza werken samen om een weeshuis in Burundi te bouwen. Aan deze droom, afkomstig van haar overleden zoon Hussein, wordt sinds 2011 gewerkt.
Het bestuur van de Hussein Foundation, bestaande uit een groep diverse mensen, is samen met Honorata gestart met het inzamelen van geld om dit doel te bereiken o.a. doormiddel van evenementen en donaties.
Na 7 jaar is er o.a. grond aangekocht en zijn er bouwtekeningen voor het huis. In mei 2018 is de stichting gestart met de bouw van het eerste gebouw van het weeshuis. De Hussein Foundation is op dit moment bezig met het inzamelen van geld om de andere gebouwen te realiseren.
Als stichting hebben de Hussein Foundation en Honorata al jaren dezelfde visie. Het bouwen van een zelfvoorzienend weeshuis in Burundi waar kinderen veilig kunnen spelen, leren en leven. Dit alles naar de droom van Honorata’s overleden zoon Hussein.
