Hy-Dynamix™ have launched an innovative product called Hy-Weigh™, which is a simple system used for weighing Sea-Freight containers within facilities.
Using four corner hydraulic elevation systems, Hy-Weigh™ raises the container in-situ (removing the need for dedicated container cranage) and the system displays the weight as a digital read-out.
This is in response to the problems posed in the industry by the SOLAS Verified Gross Mass requirements due to take effect in July this year, which state that shippers must verify the gross mass of their container and notify the shipping company in advance and without this the container will not be loaded aboard ship.
We also offer a complementary product, Hy-Lifter™, which allows skating systems to be attached to the underside of the container to allow free & easy movement around facilities. Hy-Lifter™ also incorporates a facility to weigh the loaded container before transportation.
