New technologies are not conceived as a medium but as a reservoir from which new artistic possibilities can emerge, by shifting the perspective from the foreground to the background, which becomes the subject.
In terms of sound, Iadema Studio focuses on the abstraction of stylistic elements from techno, glitch and pop music, concentrating on their essence, merged with contemporary artistic experimentation. Our heterogeneous portfolio includes multimedia installations and sculptures, fixed media audiovisual works, acousmatic works and live performances as well as instrumental compositions, with or without electronics.
Iadema Studio consists of a team of individuals who work with Gianluca Iadema to develop, produce, and install artworks, projects, and exhibitions, as well as on communications and promotions.
