IAMI operates four sub-groups which actively address training issues and qualifications, focusing on various aspects of mandatory Deck/Navigational Training, Engineering Training, Small Craft Training, as well as industry-led Superyacht training, under the IAMI governed GUEST Program.
The GUEST Program provides industry-led course development and Training Provider Accreditations, ensuring adherence to rigorous standards within Superyacht education.
Additionally, IAMI conducts exams, assessments, and certification issuance for MCA and GUEST courses, ensuring learners meet required standards.
Its Annual General Meeting and Conference provide platforms for networking and strategic discussions on marine education and training, highlighting its pivotal role in shaping global maritime education standards.
