We are honored to invite you to participate in the 17th International Congress on Polymers in Concrete - ICPIC 2023. This long-awaited event will take place from September 17th to 20th, 2023, in Warsaw. ICPIC congresses have been organized cyclically since 1975 by the International Congress on Polymers in Concrete, a non-profit organization that brings together specialists involved in research and practical applications of polymers in concrete. Representatives from many countries from practically all continents participate in ICPIC congresses. We are proud that Poland has been entrusted with organizing the congress following the last congress in Washington. The co-organizers of the ICPIC 2023 congress are the Warsaw University of Technology and the Building Research Institute. The aim of the ICPIC 2023 Congress is to exchange multidisciplinary knowledge on the use of polymers "in concrete" and "on concrete": from modifying concrete composition using modern admixtures and additives, through alternative binders (e.g. geopolymers, sulfur concrete, etc.), polymer composites for concrete reinforcement (e.g. FRP fibers and bars and FRP strengthening systems), improving concrete surface properties (e.g. impregnation, hydrophobization, and coatings), to special properties such as self-healing, self-cleaning, or the use of PCM (Phase Change Materials) for energy consumption control. The main theme of the ICPIC 2023 congress in Warsaw is the challenges in the field of polymer-cement composites related to the implementation of a circular economy. An important part of the ICPIC 2023 Congress will be the Special Symposium entitled "C-PC in Circular Economy: Searching for a New Paradigm" organized by the Building Research Institute (ITB) under the leadership of Prof. Lech Czarnecki.
