HAEMATOLOGY: determination of hemoglobin, hematocrite and blood smear studies (differential counts, identification of haematological parasites, etc.).
MOLECULAR BIOLOGY: Detection of pathogens by molecular tools (eg PCR for Enteromyxum leei).
