Idee & Parquet does much more than produce and lay mass-produced parquet floors. This cultural legacy has turned into loyal commitment to a tacit promise handed down from Mario Sacchetti to his son Sergio, who in 1965 followed in his father’s footsteps by joining the floor laying business, and which has now been passed onto Luca, the heir of a company with decades of experience. Over the years, flooring has witnessed significant changes in the techniques used for laying the wood, offering the potential for unbridled creativity with new designs. Today, in the company’s workshops in the province of Arezzo, a wide variety of reclaimed wood (taken from barrels, dolphins and old beams and structures) is brought together and recycled to create prestigious floors and matching interior accessories.
