The California Inland Empire District Export Council (CIEDEC) is an organization of 30+ local business leaders and trade professionals appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce to provide sources of professional advice to the Inland Empire region business community seeking to expand internationally.
Closely affiliated with the U.S. Department of Commerce's Inland Empire Export Assistance Center and the U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service, the CIEDEC accomplishes its mission through:
- Counseling local businesses
- Sponsoring programs to create greater export awareness in the local community
- Identifying issues that impact export trade
- Supporting U.S. Government's export promotion efforts
- Encouraging international education and building local export assistance partnerships.

CIEDEC is part of the National Association of District Export Councils consisting of 60 DECs throughout the country with approximately 1,600 volunteer members united by a mission of promoting our country’s economic growth and creating new and higher-paying jobs for their communities.
