IF(game)SH e.V. ist ein gemeinnütziger Verein, welcher sich für den Games-Standort Schleswig-Holstein einsetzt.
Im Januar 2018 von Jens-Uwe Bahr, Karolin Kraut und Julia Seifert gegründet bietet die “If(game)SH;” eine Anlaufstelle für die Vernetzung von Spieleentwickler_Innen und Förderungsinitiativen im Bundesland Schleswig-Holstein. Unsere Ziele dabei sind die Anerkennung von Videospielen als Kultur- und Kreativgut, eine Stärkung der Gamesbranche im Standort SH und der Austausch zwischen Entwickler_Innen, Kreativen und allen Interessierten.
Als erste Anlaufstelle veranstalten wir ein Mal im Monat den Indie Gamedev Stammtisch in der Starterkitchen sowie den eSport Stammtisch. Unsere Meetups sind ein Ort für jeden, der an der Entwicklung von Spielen oder der eSport-Szene interessiert ist, um Erfahrungen auszutauschen, Kontakte zu knüpfen, Unterstützung und Feedback zu bekommen und Spaß zu haben. Wir wollen uns gegenseitig bei unseren Vorhaben und Projekten unterstützen, ganz unabhängig davon wie professionell oder fortgeschritten diese sind. Jeder ist bei uns willkommen – unabhängig vom Kenntnisstand, Erfahrungen, bisherigen Projekten, Nationalität, Geschlecht, Sexualität, Alter etc.
