IIDFC Securities Limited is a fully owned subsidiary Company of Industrial and Infrastructure Development Finance Company Limited (IIDFC). Subsequently, it obtained Stock-Broker and Stock-Dealer license on 20 April 2009 and got the full service Depository Participant license on 18 May 2009 from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Capital Market Regulator of Bangladesh. Thereafter, IIDFC Limited started its stock broking activities through its Brokerage Services Division from May 21, 2009. activities through its Brokerage Services Division from May 21, 2009. In compliance with the Securities and Exchange Commission circular No. SEC/Reg/CSE/MB/2009/444 dated December 20, 2009, ISL obtained permission to act a fully owned subsidiary of IIDFC Ltd on March 28, 2010 under Company Act, 1994 to carry out Stock broker & Stock Dealer activities. The assets and liabilities were transferred from IIDFC Limited to IIDFC Securities Limited on January 05, 2011. The authorized capital of the company was BDT 5,000.00 Million with paid up capital of BDT 1,000.00 Million. The registered office is in Eunoos Trade Centre (Level-7), 52-53 Dilkusha C.A., Dhaka-1000. The company has two branches in Gulshan and Chittagong. The company is an active participant in DSE and CSE. ISL has 18 (eighteen) workstations. The total manpower of the company stood at 33 persons. The number of active clients of the company was 4,172 as per management information.
