‘We waren al een tijd op zoek naar een geschikte lokatie in deze buurt. De Weimarstraat is voor ons dé perfecte plek om een studio voor yoga en personal training te openen. Omdat het een winkelstraat is, openen we meteen ‘Yogawinkel iMoves’ erbij. In Den Haag zijn nog geen gespecialiseerde yogawinkels, waar je kleding, meditatiekussens, yogamatten etc kunt kopen voor de beoefening van yoga.
In de studio worden wekelijks vinyasa en kinder en peuter-yogalessen aangeboden, maar mensen kunnen ook besluiten om een personal trainingstraject aan te gaan van bijvoorbeeld drie maanden. Hierin wordt gekeken naar de individuele wensen en kan een combinatie worden gemaakt van bijvoorbeeld krachttraining/conditietraining en privé yogalessen.
De combinatie van yoga en personal training is al succesvol gebleken. Het ontwikkelen van kracht en flexibiliteit zorgen voor een gezond en flexibel lichaam en een gezonde en flexibele geest. Het mentale/spirituele aspect wat bij yoga bewust wordt ingezet, is ook toepasbaar op de beoefening van sport. Hiermee verdiept je sportbeoefening zich en yogabeoefening wordt makkelijker omdat het lijf sterker en actiever wordt gemaakt door de sportactiviteiten.
