In April 1969, Phil Dennis Enterprises Ltd purchased H&S Heat Treating, a small commercial heat treating operation. Today, we are one of the largest commercial Heat Treaters in Ontario certified to both ISO 9001:2008, and ISO/TS 16949:2009.
In 2013, H&S was purchased by IMT along with their sister company NMT. We are now a part of the IMT family, which consists of the Defense Group, Forging Group, Machining Group, and Transportation Group.
We are a premium supplier of quality heat treat services with experienced staff that will help you from beginning to end. Our clients come from the following industrial sectors: Agricultural, Automotive, Fastener, Forging, General Engineering, Oil & Gas and Mining. Being TS certified and CQI-9 compliant, there are virtually no limits on our ability to provide any thermal processing applications.

Stress relieving, solution annealing, quench and temper (water, oil, polymer), bright hardening, carbonitriding, carburizing, carbon restoration, induction hardening (high and low frequency), normalizing, straightening, cleaning (wheelabrating, glass bead), rust inhibiting, wheelabrating.
Equipment
H&S offers one of the most diverse range of thermal processing equipment in the industry including batch & continuous atmosphere processing, direct fire equipment, as well as application specific equipment for isothermal and spheroidize annealing, and normalizing applications.
