The company was founded in 2016 aiming to provide specialized analyses and services in the sector of industrial minerals. The services are related to the evaluation of raw materials, competitive samples but also the development of new and improvement of existing products.
In.mat-Lab is currently the only worldwide independent laboratory, expertized on perlite testing and client advising. A specialized laboratory for perlite has been installed, operating a multi-task lab expansion furnace, having the ability to process all fractions and providing analytical data on each sample’s properties and characteristics directly related to the various final applications.
We provide targeted data regarding perlite’s properties such as expandability and physical performance. We apply procedures and working instructions from different Institutes and Organizations (Perlite Institute, EN, ASTM, ISO etc.) in order to evaluate the applicability of the raw material for specific final applications (i.e. construction, agriculture, cryogenics, else). In addition, upon client’s request, we are also developing and applying custom made and/or inhouse methodologies and tests.
Based on our clients' needs and provided data, we can quantify the influence of expanded perlite's critical characteristics on the properties of the final products. We provide tailor-made Value-to-Client Analysis not only to perlite producers but also to perlite expanders and final users.
