Our high certification and legal membership standards ensure that all Hoosiers have secure structural assets. We go above and beyond to promote minimum safety standards for statewide construction projects to increase work quality and ensure long-term project safety. IIPAC members work tirelessly to emphasize the value of Indiana Ironworkers to the state's workforce, economy and overall well-being of Hoosiers to state and federal policymakers. As a fully self-funded organization, we operate independently of state or federal funding. While many job possibilities in the construction business involve seasonal layoffs, the Indiana Ironworkers provide year-round meaningful employment to their members. Our focus is to invest heavily in aspiring members, encouraging not only a job, but a career in the ironworking industry. We offer our aspiring members four-year apprenticeship programs in conjunction with higher education to ensure compliance with all existing state-issued requirements and regulations agencies within the industry. As a leader in educating the industry's workforce, the Indiana Ironworkers envision expanding their proven educational curriculum for all ironworkers engaging in Indiana construction projects. The IIPAC is an entirely self-funded organization that strives to give current and aspiring Ironworkers a leading chance of success and fulfillment in their careers. Our mission is to produce a high quality of service and safety that meets the industry standard and gives employment opportunities to members year-round, with no seasonal layoffs. We require all IIPAC members to attain state-issued worker certifications and licensing requirements resulting in safer structural assets for all Hoosiers.
