انجمن علمی دانشکده مهندسی صنایع دانشگاه صنعتی خواجه نصیرالدین طوسی با برگزاری دورههای آموزشی نرمافزارهای کاربردی رشتهی مهندسی صنایع از سویی باعث تقویت شخصیت علمی دانشجویان و کمک به تکمیل فرآیند آموزش در دانشگاه و از سوی دیگر با تخصیص کلاس به دانشجویان توانا برای تدریس باعث ایجاد اعتماد به نفس و روحیه تبادل علم و دانش در دانشگاه گردیده است. همچنین فرصتی برای کسب درآمد دانشجویان توانا ایجاد نمودهاست که باعث ایجاد انگیزه در سایر دانشجویان برای تقویت تواناییها و مهارتهای خود در رشتهی تخصصی خود شدهاست. همچنین با برگزاری سمینارهای کارآفرینی و دعوت نمودن بزرگان صنعت کشور به دانشگاه برای برقراری ارتباط موثر و کارآمد دانشگاه و صنعت تلاش نمودهاست و باعث آشنایی دانشجویان با زمینههای کاری رشتهی مهندسی صنایع و نیاز جامعه روز برای فعالیت در حوزههای مختلف صنعتی، تولیدی ، مدیریتی و ... گردیدهاست. با توجه به رشد صنعت در کشور بازدید از کارخانجات فعال و بزرگ میتواند محرک مهمی برای تلاش بیشتر دانشجویان در یادگیری برای کسب مهارتهای لازم جهت ورود به این کارخانجات باشد. انجمن علمی با همکاری واحد ارتباط با صنعت دانشگاه و برقراری تماس و کسب مجوز بازدید از واحدهای صنعتی عظیمی چون عسلویه، سامسونگ، ایران خودرو، پارس واگن، واگن سازی تهران و ... در این راستا قدم نهادهاست. به امید روزی که ارتباط دانشگاهها با صنعت کشور امری واجب و متداول در تمام دانشگاههای کشور شود.
از مهم ترین اقدامات انجمن علمی در حوزه کارآفرینی تشکیل گروه آموزشی تدریس نرمافزار و همچنین طرح برقراری ارتباط میان صنعت و دانشجویان علاقهمند به حضور در محیط کار بوده است. امید است تا این مجموعه بتواند سهم اندکی در مسیر رشد و اعتلای سطح علمی و فرهنگی میهن عزیزمان داشته باشد
