The Labour Institute of the General Confederation of Greek Workers (INE GSEE) constitutes a scientific and research body specializing in labour and employment issues. Its aim is to foster scientific research, to recommend policies, thus strengthening the vision and agenda of GSEE and the trade union movement. At the same time, it conducts research in the fields of vocational training and lifelong learning, at both national and European levels.
INE GSEE focuses on the analysis of economic and social policy issues, combating unemployment, inequalities and social exclusion, by strengthening the link between theory policies and trade union action.
Its staff consists of experts in the fields of economics, social and legal sciences, statistics and psychology. Through collaborations, research and actions, it significantly contributes to shaping policies that protect workers' rights and to creating a sustainable, socially just future.
