HeiQ Viroblock NPJ03 is an antiviral and antibacterial agent for all fabric types, and is especially suitable for non-woven textiles for healthcare such as face masks and surgical/isolation gowns.
It can be applied to the manufacturing process of most textiles. This makes it the safest way to produce Level 1 and Level 2 PPE such as masks, gloves, aprons, long sleeve gowns, visors and FFP3 respirators.
In tests, surgical masks treated with HeiQ Viroblock NPJ03, are shown to offer around 100 times more protection than untreated facemasks, deactivating Coronavirus and significantly reducing the threat of contamination and re-transmission for frontline workers and patients.
Its flexible application allows it to be used in a wide variety of other critical environments to keep workers and patients safe, for example scrubs, uniforms, curtains and bed linen; it can even be applied to carpets and soft furnishings.
And it is equally effective in deactivating a number of other viruses and bacteria, including strains of influenza and MRSA.
It can be applied to a range of fabrics using standard continuous wet-processing methods (e.g. padding, kiss-roll etc) as well as by exhaust in short liquor.
