iNiCUBATOR is a for-profit networked Athens-based high tech incubator. Its vision is to boost entrepreneurship in Greece and to support Greek entrepreneurs in establishing their own high technology companies. For the efficient incubation of such companies and support for entering major international markets, it is essential to obtain direct access to innovative technologies, flexible funding schemes and well educated personnel.
INI-CUBATOR’s mission is:
- To establish technology screening and breeding mechanisms for the proactive tracking of marketable technologies from Greek Universities and Research Institutions.
- To provide the necessary environment for attracting specifically Greek scientists residing and working abroad through its international reach and access to resources and facilitate the commercialisation of their technologies in Greece.
- To offer Greek to scientists an official platform to develop new technology companies and empower them with international presence in an organised network providing access to existing sales channels and financial recourses.
- To provide an integrated framework offering the necessary support mechanisms to Greek scientists and Greek entrepreneurs for the incubation of new technology oriented Greek companies in the field of information and communication technologies.
- To support and facilitate patenting, exploitation, licensing and commercialisation of innovative technologies, which are resulting out of the current research and development activities in the field of information and communication technologies.
The strategy of INI-CUBATOR is to extend in South Eastern Europe by establishing joint- ventures and therefore successfully applying its expertise, know-how and process in combination with local partners.
