Inloophuis Pisa is een gastvrij huis voor mensen uit West-Friesland die met kanker worden geconfronteerd. Daar waar het ziekenhuis zich richt op het fysieke herstel, zorgt Pisa voor psychosociale ondersteuning. Wat Pisa betekent voor haar bezoekers: "Een warm huis waar je je welkom voelt, waar je een luisterend oor vindt, waar je lotgenoten treft , waar je kan deelnemen aan vele ontspannende activiteiten of waar je gewoon even kunt zijn en niets hoeft."
Jaarlijks maken honderden bezoekers uit West-Friesland gebruik van de mogelijkheid om binnen te lopen of deel te nemen aan activiteiten. Pisa biedt onder andere lotgenotencontact, ontspanningsmassage, yoga, creatieve activiteiten, gerichte cursussen en informatiebijeenkomsten. Voor kinderen en jongeren zijn er aparte activiteiten: Kindertijd en Chill@pisa.
Inloophuis Pisa is gevestigd aan het Grote Oost 41 in Hoorn, maar we zijn ook actief in Enkhuizen en het Dijklander Ziekenhuis.
