Inner dialogues email format

Somewhere deep within is the one we call our Self, which seems to conceive the thoughts and possess the feelings that characterize Me, Myself, and I. The Self knows of itself, and knows that it knows, in loops of its own awareness, reflecting back upon its own being in spirals of introspection, reminding us of our own presence through dialogues in which we are the actor and single spectator, the speaker and listener. The insuppressible nature of these dialogues, and our perpetual listening to them, contributes significantly to our beliefs about who we are. The inner voices of this 'self-talk' can inspire or terrify, amuse or intimidate, assist or tyrannise us, lifting us up in hope and optimism, or dragging us down into despair. Some of the chattering conversations that ring between our ears do not originate with our true Self. They are the introjected internalised echo of what others have said or inferred to us. Meanwhile, other interior discussions manifest our endeavour to articulate alternative perspectives upon our personality and predicament, in search of an authentic voice that seems truly our own. By studying the dynamics of these inner dialogues, we can find release from indenture to a cacophony of self-effacing voices, and amplify those of acceptance and self-compassion, rescuing our true Self from the noise of introjections.
