Ten years ago, I was 41 years old and going through the most painful, life-altering event of my life. I was overweight, depressed, and I had given up on most of my hopes and dreams. I lived as if life just happened to me, and I passively followed wherever it led me. It took this painful event to wake me up from my slumber. What could’ve been the most devastating experience of my life became a catalyst for change. I stopped playing the victim and took back the control I had previously given up. I became a change instigator for my own life. The last 10 years of my life have been amazing! -I trained for and ran a half marathon -I started a side business that makes $2,000/month with little work -I transitioned into a more fulfilling full-time job -I took numerous dream vacations -I completed my doctorate -I wrote two books (with more to come) -I became a better dad -I started “Instigate the Change” This was nowhere near as difficult as I previously thought.
