IRDO - Inštitut za razvoj družbene odgovornosti je bil ustanovljen leta 2004 z namenom raziskovati in pospeševati razvoj družbene odgovornosti v Sloveniji in v svetu.
IRDO povezuje vse ključne akterje na področju razvoja družbene odgovornosti (podjetja, vlada, civilna družba…). Izvaja skupne aktivnosti in kampanje za osveščenost širše družbe o potrebnosti in pomenu družbene odgovornosti v Sloveniji.
IRDO podjetjem in drugim zainteresiranim svetuje, kako poslovati družbeno odgovorno in kako se pri tem učinkovito povezovati z drugimi. Po svojih močeh vzpostavlja medijsko podporo razvoju družbene odgovornosti in izvaja druge naloge s področja razvoja in uveljavljanja družbene odgovornosti v Sloveniji.

IRDO Mission & Activities:
Institute for the Development of Social Responsibility - IRDO was founded in 2004 to research and accelerate the development of Social Responsibility (SR) with research, training, consulting, connecting and promotion. It cooperates with domestic and foreign experts, foundations, organisation, governments and companies to help exchange knowledge and experience regarding SR. The institute is running campaigns for raising awareness in society at large about the need and the importance of SR. The IRDO Institute is a leading slovenian organisation for corporate social responsibility and sustainable development of companies, non-governmental organisations and institutions.
IRDO Vision: By the year 2020, we intend to become an internationally renowned group of experts, scientists and researchers in the field of SR, making an important contribution to the development of SR for companies, organisations, foundations, individuals, governments and to society as a whole.
