Ultimate goal of my organization it to enable Oil Companies to increase recovery factors from their oilfields.
Recovery factors could be increased from all reservoirs including from the Unconventional oil reservoirs. Obviously EOR physics is well understood for long time but most EOR projects did not bring the early promises. After examining all existing projects, it is safe to concluded that approach to EOR projects, from concept to field management needs a new approach.
Traditional EOR processes can't work for fast maturing oilfields anymore, because old ways are too slow for making any impact in arresting decline.
IRO is going to bring a new approach to Oil Industry to increase recovery factors fast.
