L’Interassociative lesbienne, gaie, bi et trans (Inter-LGBT), créée sous le nom de Lesbian & Gay Pride Ile-de-France en 1999, participe d’un mouvement qui, depuis plus de 30 ans, inscrit sur la place publique la question de l’orientation et de l’identité de genre, par le biais de manifestations revendicatives à caractère festif.
Son but : lutter contre les discriminations fondées sur les moeurs, l’orientation ou l’identité de genre, dans le cadre de la promotion des droits humains et des libertés fondamentales.
Comment ?
Elle organise la Marche des fiertés lesbiennes, gaies, bi et trans, le Printemps des assoces (conférence et salon) et d’autres interventions publiques ; elle participe au dialogue politique et social ; elle soutient des projets inter-associatifs et favorise à la fois la visibilité des associations LGBT et l’émergence d’une stratégie collective.
Les plénières politique et interassociative, lieu public de rencontre et d’échanges, permettent la mise en commun de moyens et l’élaboration des stratégies collectives du mouvement LGBT français. Se réunissant une fois par mois, rassemblant une cinquantaine d’associations, les plénières décident des orientations de l’Interassociative et l’organisation des grands temps forts de la vie interassociative de l’Inter-LGBT.
