RESTAURANG & HOTELL I GÖTEBORGS SÖDRA SKÄRGÅRD
Längst ut på piren i Donsö hamn, mitt i Göteborgs södra skärgård, hittar du Isbolaget – ett gammalt ishus för fiskebåtar som nu byggts om till restaurang och hotell.
I Göteborgs skärgård har fisket alltid haft en viktig roll, så även på Donsö. Det som nu är Isbolaget var förr ett ismagasin där is producerades i stora mängder med syfte att kyla lasten för de fiskebåtar som utgick från Göteborg. I dag har behovet av sådana ismagasin helt försvunnit då fiskebåtar i dag har andra sätt att kyla sin last. Men historien om det gamla ismagasinet på Donsö lever kvar i lokalen.
I våras öppnade vi Donsös första hotell. Två våningar upp finns tio rum med dubbelsäng i varje rum.
Vill ni även få en härlig upplevelse under färden ut till ön kan vi hjälpa till att fixa sjötaxi eller ribbåt som hämtar upp er inne vid t.ex Stenpiren.
