ISKAASHI Micro, Small & Medium Enterprise Development (IMD) is a non-profit guarantee provider, aiming to alleviate the constraints facing micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in accessing finance through the facilitation of credit to enterprise owners for growth and expansion in Somalia.
ISKAASHI provides guarantee products and services to micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) borrowers on loans made by partner lenders (banks and microfinance institutions MFIs).
The expectation is that the banking and MFI sector will be able to serve a larger number of micro, small and medium enterprises, which will create jobs and expand the local economy.
