iTeachers is in 2021 opgericht door Ronald Bruggeling en Robbert Loch: twee ondernemers met een gedeelde passie voor jongeren, technologie en onderwijs. Vanuit die passie is onze missie ontstaan: leerlingen op inspirerende wijze voorbereiden op een wereld waarin digitale vaardigheden essentieel zijn.
De leerlijn Digitale Geletterdheid die iTeachers heeft ontwikkelt, is praktijkgericht en sluit aan bij de leefwereld van leerlingen. We geloven in leren door te doen, met aandacht voor talentontwikkeling en verdieping op het gebied van ICT. Alle lessen zijn ontwikkeld op basis van de conceptkerndoelen Digitale Geletterdheid van SLO en worden regelmatig aangevuld met nieuwe thema’s en technologieën.
iTeachers werkt uitsluitend met vakmensen die beschikken over technische, pedagogische en didactische vaardigheden. Zo garanderen we kwaliteit én aansluiting op de praktijk.
De leerlijn is beschikbaar via de iTeachers Academy, zodat scholen zelfstandig aan de slag kunnen. In aanvulling hierop bieden we: inzet van vakdocenten in de klas, training voor het eigen onderwijsteam én ondersteuning bij visie- en beleidsontwikkeling op Digitale Geletterdheid.
