Ithemba Empowerment Solution “Ithemba” is a Non-Profit Organisation founded by youth from deep rural backgrounds of South Africa sharing the same vision of utilising their knowledge, skills and experience in changing lives. Ithemba inspires, empowers, and enables vulnerable communities primarily from rural communities around South Africa, these include children, youth, and the community at large to unlock their full human potential to develop skills towards a sustainable future. The organization is located in a small village in Emahlahleni Local Municipality under Chris Hani District municipality in the Eastern Cape province in South Africa. We work in an around various communities in collaboration with various stakeholders from different sectors of the economy. We intend to make a difference in any possibly way, through continuously “Reinventing Hope”. We are passionate about empowering people from disadvantaged backgrounds through employing various empowerment initiatives including but not limited to: Skills development (internships, learnerships, apprenticeships, skills programmes, entrepreneurship programmes and other skills development interventions) Academic Support outside of the academic support to rural schools (extra classes with primary focus on Maths, Science, Accounting and English) Career Guidance (assisting rural learners to gain access to institution of higher learning and funding opportunities including bursaries).
