Following the enactment of the upper secondary school reform, as of September 1, 2010, Severi became a Technical Institute of Technology sector. The following articulations are active: - Computer Science - Electronics - Automation - Mechanics and Mechatronics Through its articulations, Severi trains capable, competent and responsible students capable of making choices in professions, further studies and life. It offers specialized knowledge and skills, allows for increased knowledge and cultural tools and the development of individual qualities. It proposes a laboratory and experimental context that fosters contamination between knowledge and languages and encounters with working and professional realities, including those of European scope. Severi's strategic vision is strongly hinged on the Lisbon goals and the European Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning (EQF), moving in the direction of facilitating learning by certified competencies and the conscious and responsible insertion into employment or post-secondary study. The lines that continue to represent Severi's goals focus on: - strong integration between theoretical and practical knowledge - strong integration in the territorial "system" - research and innovation - strengthening of the institute's specific identity, at a particular time when we are being asked for characterization especially in the technology sector - maintenance of reputational capital. With respect to the choices of intervention, the goal for students is declined in the ability to use learning outcomes as opportunities for the conscious exercise of active citizenship and for mobility in the European Union.
