İyi Tasarım/Good Design İzmir, Akdeniz Akademisi tarafından 2016 yılından bu yana düzenlenen, Akdeniz ve dünya meseleleri üzerine yürütülen tasarım çalışmalarını İzmir’de bir araya getirerek tüm paydaşlarla diyalog ve işbirliği içinde gerçekleştiren çok kapsamlı kamusal bir programdır.
Kentin tasarım kapasitesini -söylemini, kültürünü, ekonomisini- eşitlikçi, işbirlikçi ve katılımcı bir yaklaşımla artırmayı, çeşitlendirmeyi ve yaygınlaştırmayı hedefleyen bu program; her yıl belirli bir tema çerçevesinde yerel, ulusal ve uluslararası ölçekte tasarımla ilgili faaliyette bulunan tüm grupları bir araya getirir. Hem tasarım mesleği ve eğitimi adına yapılan üretimin hem de tasarıma ilişkin düşünsel zeminde yapılan çalışmaların paylaşımına, söyleşi/panel, sergi, atölye, film gösterimi, performans, yarışma, proje vb. etkinliklerle önayak olur.

Good Design Izmir is a comprehensive public program organized by the Mediterranean Academy since 2016, bringing together design studies conducted on Mediterranean and global issues in Izmir, fostering dialogue and collaboration with all stakeholders. Aimed at increasing, diversifying, and popularizing the city's design capacity - its discourse, culture, and economy - with an egalitarian, collaborative, and participatory approach, this program gathers local, national, and international design-related groups annually around a specific theme. It facilitates the sharing of both production in the field of design profession and education, and the intellectual work related to design through activities such as discussions/panels, exhibitions, workshops, film screenings, performances, competitions, projects, etc.
