Jera Consulting Services is a veteran-owned small business that offers a variety of management services on a consulting basis to firms in the commercial space as well as companies who do business in the federal, state and local government spaces. We specialize in management and execution of the business development lifecycle in general, with a specific emphasis on the proposal management/development process followed in the formulation of formal responses to Sources Sought (SS), Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Quote (RFQs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
The name "Jera" is actually a Viking rune that most clearly refers to the procession of time, literally meaning "year". Jera is the rune of patience and effort and is naturally associated with a great reward as a result of diligent and careful planning, patience and hard work. In a nutshell, Jera is a bountiful harvest...the fruit of the labor...the end game.
The old adage "one size fits all" does not hold true when it comes to the proposal consulting services world. A single offering rarely fits each client's needs, nor should it. With this in mind, we offer a variety of tailored and scalable consulting services to fit the client's needs, ranging from management of the proposal process on a per proposal basis to performing an assessment of your particular business and designing and building out a proposal process that will enable you and your team to experience repeatable success. The client's needs really dictate what service we provide, rather than a specific product being forced upon a client with the intent that "it's close enough".
At the end of the day, it's not uncommon for a company to spend tens of thousands to upwards of hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars on a proposal effort. Clients need a solid proposal process that is repeatable and simple. That's what we provide to our clients.
