Crée le 31 Août 1951, le JIR GROUPE MEDIA est une société par actions simplifiée spécialisée dans la presse locale rattachée au Groupe Cadjee depuis Avril 2009 (51 à 200 employés). Le JIR est l’un des plus anciens journaux papiers leaders à la Réunion. En 1996, il fut l’un des premiers journaux PQR en France à lancer une version numérique : Clicanoo.re.
