The staff at JTS brings years of technical experience in software, systems engineering services, and product development. We have experience in large scale enterprise level software applications, down to embedded software developed on soft-cores processors and microchips. Our primary experience on large scale projects has involved working in the US Air force Mission Planning domain since the inception of the global automation of this process. This development effort began on a Unix platform and has since migrated to a windows pc platform, traversing through the myriad of operating systems from Windows 98 to Vista. Our experience in development process range from CMMI Level 3 and RTCA DO-200A compliant, down to vague statement of works with derived requirements and interface control documents managed using excel. We respect and understand there are diverse ways to manage the development lifecycle of a project, and there is not a “one for all” solution. UML is used to document the design, and object oriented development techniques are used throughout the lifecycle. Test planning is started right at the onset of the project by generating test procedures from use cases. JTS also has experience in developing embedded software on a QRC program that resulted in the development of a suite of products. Effective software reuse and management was a key component to the successful deployment of counter IED systems. Successful reuse of software was on a myriad of platforms including, a Xlinix Power PC, a microblaze soft core, a Rabbit Core microprocessor, Windows CE handheld devices, Linux, and Windows based PC.
