John Watt & Son is a Carlisle institution, and for good reason! We’ve been roasting coffee in the city since our original shop opened in Glovers Row in 1865, that's 160 years of experience!
Our coffee is central to our brand, so much so that our blending recipes are a closely guarded secret! These recipes have been passed down over generations, ensuring a consistent and delicious cup of coffee.
In addition to our famous coffee, we also offer a variety of teas and are a catering specialist. We operate a number of cafes alongside our roasting business which focus on fresh, local food.
We source our ingredients from within 50 miles whenever possible, highlighting the best of local products.
