He holds Master's degree (with distinction), and is a certified advanced teacher, with The Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice, Bangor University. Danny attends regular CPD training with the University of Oxford Mindfulness Centre and The Mindfulness Network.
He is passionate about mindfulness building our resilience and empowering us to live richer and more vibrant lives. He has completed several mindfulness courses including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Interpersonal Mindfulness and Mindful Self-Compassion.
Danny brings a friendly, non-judgemental nature to teaching mindfulness, creating a collaborative and safe environment for learning about and cultivating mindful awareness. With practice we are more able to meet and accept our experience just as it is, whilst learning to respond through choice rather than react habitually. This can be particularly helpful when we experience stress, pain or illness. He teaches drop in sessions, workshops & courses to groups or individuals, in workplace & general public settings. His professional background is Quantity Surveying applied to commercial and project management in the construction industry. Danny held a line management position for 19 years so has direct experience of the essential significance of wellbeing in a time pressured and competitive commercial marketplace. He has completed specialist training to deliver mindfulness in workplace contexts, based upon research by Ashridge Hult Business School.
