De Jongbloed Foundation wil bijdragen aan een leuker, gezonder en beter leven van voornamelijk kinderen (en hun ouders) die in een achterstandspositie verkeren of door een fysieke of psychische reden niet meekomen in het maatschappelijk functioneren.
De stichting richt zich op de hele wereld waarbij de focus ligt op in Twente gevestigde stichtingen die tot doel hebben maatschappelijk functioneren te veraangenamen of te verbeteren. De stichting wil niet alleen graag in haar achtertuin– waar er direct zicht en controle op is – problemen (klein en groot) oplossen, maar ook een bijdrage leveren aan het welzijn van kinderen en hun ouders in andere landen van de wereld.
De stichting draagt bij in de vorm van tijd en geld om maatschappelijke problemen op te lossen en/of hiervoor aandacht te vragen. Het kan gaan om een vakantie, studiebegeleiding, hulp bij ziekte, armoedebestrijding of gewoon een leuk uitstapje voor een gezin of individu. In het buitenland zal de bijdrage vooral financieel zijn, al dan niet op eigen initiatief en inzet als wel middels een stichting die in een betreffend land haar sporen heeft verdiend.
Ieder kind heeft recht op een zorgeloze en blije jeugd en het beste wat er mogelijk is.
