Der Name Joulmine ist von zwei Ideen inspiriert. Die Idee, Energie zu regenerieren, wofür das Wort Joule steht. Und die Mission, das größte Recyclingproblem der Windenergiebranche anzugehen, indem die ausrangierten Rotorblätter als Rohstoff gewonnen werden, worauf sich das Wort mining bezieht.
Joulmine is a start-up company founded in 2022, that has set itself the task of developing a technically innovative recycling concept for the GFRP derived from wind blades.
With a capacity of up to 44.000t, we aim to produce up to 3000t of hydrogen annually. We also recover glass and regenerate carbon that can be reused as a substitute for fossil raw materials in production processes.
The name Joulmine is inspired by two ideas. The idea to regenerate energy, that is what the word Joule stands for. And the mission to tackle the biggest recycling problem of the wind energy industry, by mining the discarded blades for raw material.
