Die Jugend Präsentiert gGmbH wurde 2011 von der Klaus Tschira Stiftung mit dem Ziel ins Leben gerufen, die Präsentationskompetenz und Auseinandersetzung mit naturwissenschaftlich-mathematischen Themen in der Schule zu fördern.
Dafür bietet Jugend präsentiert für Lehrkräfte Seminare und Lernmaterialien für den Einsatz im Unterricht an. Für Schüler*innen wird ein bundesweiter Wettbewerb ausgerichtet, an dem sich jährlich über 8.800 Schüler*innen ab der 7. Klasse bis 21 Jahre beteiligen.
Mit dem Programm Jugend präsentiert Kids richtet sich die Organisation seit 2019 auch an Grundschullehrkräfte und Grundschüler*innen.
Lernmaterialien, didaktische Konzepte sowie Seminare für Lehrkräfte und Schüler*innen werden von Wissenschaftler*innen am Seminar für Allgemeine Rhetorik der Universität Tübingen entwickelt und durchgeführt. Hier wird die Wirkung von Jugend präsentiert zudem kontinuierlich wissenschaftlich evaluiert.
Das gesamte Angebot von Jugend präsentiert ist kostenfrei.
