jump! is een talentontwikkelingstraject voor jonge beeldend kunstenaars in Brabant. Zes Brabantse kunstinstellingen zetten hun kennis en netwerk in en begeleiden de talenten. De realisatie van dit project is mede tot stand gekomen door het ontwikkelprogramma TalentHub Brabant, met financiële steun van de provincie Noord-Brabant en advies van Kunstloc Brabant.
Na het succes van de eerste 3 edities van jump! krijgt opnieuw een aantal kunstenaars de kans dit talentontwikkelingstraject te volgen.
8 kunstinstellingen begeleiden en promoten minimaal 12 beeldend kunstenaars en introduceren hen in de complexe wereld waar kunstenaars, kopers, verzamelaars en kunstdeskundigen elkaar treffen en zaken doen. Daarnaast bieden de deelnemende kunstinstellingen ook kennis, netwerken en faciliteiten aan waarvan de kunstenaars gebruik kunnen maken.
De deelnemende kunstenaars krijgen gedurende 1,5 jaar zowel een gezamenlijk als een individueel ontwikkelingstraject aangeboden. Binnen dit programma staat de ontwikkeling van zijn of haar beroepspraktijk centraal met de nadruk op artistieke kwaliteit en ondernemerschap. De kunstenaars volgen cursussen en trainingen die ervoor zorgen dat zij vaardigheden opdoen die zij kunnen inzetten in het opbouwen van hun beroepspraktijk.
