JVO was founded in January 2020. We are a UK based business and consultancy focused on music-based entertainment. We provide services across artist management, business development, publishing, merchandising and recording. JVO’s main focus is on long term career development, planning, advice and guidance. We are music lovers who are passionate about driving change and aiding creatives in the ever diversifying music industry.
At JVO we have a forward thinking outlook on the music industry and are ever adapting to new technologies, as well as developing our own. We empower our artists to think of themselves as a business and not just a product. The primary goal is to support not only artists but all creatives and necessary individuals to progress in the industry long-term. This includes making sure our artists are not only supported with consultancy, but also are given compassionate support and mental health care as and when needed.
The team currently consists of our two founders, five team members, three artists and three producer/engineers. To date, our clients have amassed over 1,000,000 streams.
We are currently in partnership with Roc Nation’s Equity Distribution (EQ). EQ is a music distribution platform that enables artists to release music projects worldwide and allows them to retain ownership of their masters. The platform has partnerships with over 125 digital service platforms in different territories across the world. JVO is the first British company offered a deal by the label.
Equity’s goal is to give artists the tools to build their brands and maintain control of their content throughout the course of their burgeoning careers. To achieve that goal, the platform provides a handful of resources to its artists, including digital strategy support, in-house marketing services, sync and playlist promotion and publishing administration. Also supporting major artists such as Kelly Rowland and Tinashe.
