Founders
The law firm, Messrs Irene Song & Co. was first founded on 01st May 2004 by Ms Irene Song as sole proprietor. She was later joined by Mr. John Yong on 26th October 2004 and the firm had since changed its name to Messrs John Yong & Irene Song. Both the partners work hand in hand and strive to provide efficient and quality legal services to body corporate and to the public at large throughout Malaysia and other parts of the world.
Place of Practice
The firm now has its place of practice in the heart of commercial hub in the developing township of Bandar Puteri, Puchong, Selangor, occupying 2 main floors of a 4 storey shop office at No. 21-2 and 21-3, Jalan Puteri 2/6, Bandar Puteri, 47100 Puchong, Selangor. The offices were purchased by the partners for sole purpose of their legal practice.
Range of legal expertise/ works
The law firm handles an extensive range of legal work including all civil litigation matters, banking, insurance, recovery work, family law (divorce and custody), employment disputes, joint ventures, sales and purchase and/or transfer of properties, corporate matters and intellectual property matters, probate and wills.
Software/Equipment
The law firm has invested in updated software, equipment and books pertinent to the law practice and continues to upgrade all such software, equipment, books and literature from time to time in order to provide prompt and efficient services.
Security/CCTV/Fire-Proof safes
Our premises are equipped with CCTV, which are maintained regularly and all important documents are kept in fire proof safes.
Professional Indemnity
The law firm is insured up to the amount of RM4,000,000.00 up to 31st December 2024. The firm will not hesitate to revise the insured amount to meet with client’s needs if necessary.
