Οι άνθρωποι του Κάπα3 επικεντρώνουν τις δυνάμεις τους στα άτομα που νοσούν ή έχουν νοσήσει από καρκίνο και κινητήρια δύναμή τους δεν είναι άλλη από την πεποίθηση ότι ο άνθρωπος που νοσεί θα πρέπει να χαίρει έγκυρης πληροφόρησης τη στιγμή που την χρειάζεται.Μακροπρόθεσμος στόχος είναι η βελτίωση της ποιότητας ζωής των ανθρώπων αυτών και η δημιουργία νέων προοπτικών για την κοινωνική τους ενσωμάτωση, την κοινωνική τους προστασία και απασχόληση μέσω του κατάλληλου σχεδιασμού, συντονισμού και υλοποίησης ανάλογων δράσεων.
"The non-profit organization KAPA3, was founded to guide patients with cancer in Greece. It was founded in March 2020 by a group of caregivers and employs multidisciplinary healthcare teams and professionals who offer multifaceted guidance to oncology patients on bureaucratic and administrative procedures, claiming social rights privileges, as well as raising awareness on best practices for disease prevention and management in healthcare facilities in Greece. In 2021, following an extensive needs assessment exercise to identify gaps in primary guidance and support for cancer patients, in the health sector and access to social and health services, we developed and launched the digital app ""Personal Health Assistant"", which is a free, easy-to-use tool, available for download on all smartphones/tablets in Greece which provides: Access to up-to-date information on all cancer-related issues and to the latest contact details of all services related to the progress of the disease.Option to create a personal patient record in a completely secure digital environment and apersonal communication withaspecialist
