Kasigro firmly believes in the power of community to amplify the impact of our programs and demonstrate the strength of collective action and solidarity. We strive to connect entrepreneurs through local networks, fostering dynamic collaboration and support.
The success of the program is driven by local people on the ground. We learn from the entrepreneurs how to successfully run an informal business in the township. Our role is to facilitate knowledge sharing and institutionalize this learning. This project serves as an invaluable learning opportunity for the Kasigro team.
We operate in South Africa and start with a focus on hair salon businesses. Once we have mastered this business area, we will use the blueprint to expand into other sectors such as fashion, retail, and more.
