Katko ry on Turun yliopiston yleisen kasvatustieteen, erityispedagogiikan ja aikuiskasvatustieteen opiskelijoiden ainejärjestö. Katko ry valvoo kasvatustieteiden opiskelijoiden etua yliopistolla ja pyrkii kehittämään opetusta yhteistyössä laitoksen henkilökunnan kanssa.

Vapaa-ajan tapahtumiin kuuluu mm. sitsejä, baaribileitä urheilutapahtumia, excursioita ja kulttuuritapahtumia. Lisäksi Katko ry tukee opiskelijoiden työelämä- ja opiskelutaitoja järjestämällä erilaisia koulutuksia ja tapahtumia. Näitä ovat esimerkiksi CV-klinikat, LinkedIn-koulutukset sekä Duunisafari, jossa opiskelija suorittaa muutaman päivän mittaisen työkokeilun yhdessä kasvatustieteilijälle soveltuvassa organisaatiossa.
Katko ry is the student organisation formed by the students of education, adult education and special education. Katko ry is for the students of our department, guaranteeing our interests and improving on the teaching at our department by cooperating with the departments personnel.
Katko organises many different events and activities throughout the year for its members. These occasions are for the well-being and networking of our members. Examples would be sitz and bar parties, sports events, excursions, cultural events and other such activities. In addition Katko ry supports our students expertise in academic and working life by arranging CV-clinics, LinkedIn-training and Duunisafari, which is a concept that allows you to do practices of few days at actual employers of your field of study, thus gaining important connections to working life.
