Kelas Naskah is a youth organization in Indonesia that provides a forum for young people to actively participate in efforts to develop several Eastern Indonesia Regions (EIR)/ Kawasan Indonesia Timur (KTI) such as all provinces in Papua, Maluku & North Maluku, and East Nusa Tenggara through film and literature works. Eastern Indonesia was chosen because of the slow pace of development in various sectors, such as the creative industry, economy, social, education and so on. Regions in Eastern Indonesia are still very far behind compared to other regions, so that the role of youth is needed in efforts to develop the Eastern Region of Indonesia. In this digital era, the creative industry has a big role in advancing a nation. Various things can be found in the entertainment rooms. Movies are an entertainment that many people are interested in. Film can be said as an effective cultural diplomacy, because films are not only entertaining, but films are capable of speaking, campaigning, telling stories about Eastern Indonesia, and can be a tool for educating the public, so that Eastern Indonesia can rise through film roles. Our vision: Making film as a tool in developing Eastern Indonesia. Our Mission: 1.Introducing Eastern Indonesia through literary works and films 2. Providing space for works by the younger generation that have elements of Eastern Indonesia 3. Provide teaching about screenwriting and film science to young people in Eastern Indonesia 4. Producing superior human resources in the field of scenario writing 5. Building good cooperation with various institutions that support the country's film industry as well as institutions that support the pace of development of Eastern Indonesia. FOUNDER: Markus is a graduate of the Faculty of Film and Television at the Jakarta Art Institute. His awareness of the limited access to study film science in Eastern Indonesia made him want to spread film knowledge in Eastern Indonesia.
